Dear Twelve Year Old Me,

Almost twenty years have past, and a lot has changed. There are somethings, however, that have not. Many of our dreams still keep me up late at night, but so do the nightmares. I think it’s time we have a fire side chat, just you and me, because I need you to know that everything is going to be okay.

Let me start this conversation off by letting you know that you don’t need to live in fear. I know you were fed many lies that have caused you to be fearful about almost everything, but fear is not your master. Fear wants to keep you in bondage. Fear wants to hinder you from telling the truth. Fear causes you not to trust people. Fear is causing you to feel insecure. Fear is killing you mentally and spiritually. There is an enemy that wants you to stay in the prision cell of fear, but there is THE GENERAL who want you not to fear, but be strong and courageous. Being strong and courageous is going to take more then willpower, being strong and courageous will come from THE GENERAL’S HELPER.

As I look across at you, I notice all of your wounds. Some are starting to heal by THE PHYSICIAN, others you won’t allow HIM to touch. While it may be painful at first, I want to encourage you that THE PHYSCIAN is here to help. You’ve been trying to navigate through the pain on your own, but THE PHYSCIAN wants you to know that you can’t do things apart from HIM. You need to trust HIM and allow HIM to do what HE needs to do. That’s how these wounds will heal.

On a final note, don’t be embarrased of who you are and who you are becoming. I know you feel insecure about being you, but rest assured that THE CREATOR didn’t make a mistake. THE CREATOR has given you many gifts and talents and HE doesn’t want you to hide them. If you try to hide them or not give your best with those gifts and talents THE CREATOR will be grieved. HE created you for this specifc time. Don’t be ashamed of who you are becoming and don’t be ashamed of THE CREATOR molding you. Let HIS handiwork be known in your life.

We have a mission ahead of us, and part of that mission is to help 2 million others, like yourself, know that they don’t need to live in fear, that their wounds can be healed, and they are not a mistake. We can’t do this effiecently unless you stop battling me and trust THE LIGHT working through me. I know it seems scary, but HIS perfect love will cast out that fear.
